What's up CHAD/CHADETTE, haven’t sent out a mail in a long time. So I’m here to change it. Summer is already here. The big question is: Have you finally reached summer shape? Or have you been procrastinating again? Or did you fall for internet diet fads that didn't work? Now, don’t feel insulted. I’m here to help you realize what it really comes down to... how to enter SHREDDTOPIA and live the lean lifestyle forever. Because being lean is amazing. Not only is it a high status symbol in today’s world, but a way to increase your life quality. I want to share with you how you can setup a routine that doesn’t fail. And to get your mind off all the seemingly weekly new diet trends coming out on X/Twitter. Every time they get big clout, like it’s about selling a weight loss pill: “The final thing you need to do to shed fat off easily and not even feel hungry”… Hate to break it to you, but there is no such thing. Nothing worth achieving in life is easy. Nothing becomes easier too, you do become better and stronger though. As is the case with dieting and getting lean. You think after decades of sport science and bodybuilders experimenting around with themselves no one would’ve found the magic pill? And now an easy solution comes around? If that would be so, why are people still getting fatter? Even with GLP-1s widely accessible? Cause modern people have been raised to fear pain, avoid any suffering, to choose the easy way out. No one wants to accept struggle. Delayed gratification is becoming a mythos. Sadly it keeps you where you are right now. It needs a mindset shift. Your NEED TO CHANGE must grow. You need to start identifying yourself with your dream outcome. What does that mean for becoming finally shredded and maintaining it? Key things: - (1) accept to be hungry (1) Hunger is energy you can redirect. Hunger lets you go hunt and get after it in life. It’s nothing bad, it’s just there. Pure fuel for any action you want to start. Now, (2) Appetite can be painful, but be managed. Enough sleep, stimulants (nicotine, caffeine), distractions (work), mindfulness, not having any trigger foods in your direct environment (at home), and following a basic meal structure. Enough sleep and mindfulness I put on top of the pyramid. Most people with weight issues struggle with stress eating. Food is a distraction like any other drug. The appetite becomes unmanageable as they rush through life… Learn to manage your mind, slow down your thoughts and you get to control appetite. That’s how you keep weight off forever. Use breathing exercises and mindfulness to avoid your need for distractions, to finally meet your “bad” feelings and learn to cope with them. I’m a big proponent of (3) eating the same every day, with slight variations. This allows you to become more mindful, to keep appetite low too. Also to manage your inner state better as you operate on autopilot. Your body loves predictability. Keep it easy, clean and learn about calorie density to fill yourself up more. Lastly you (4) accept the “pain” of change. Or better, redirect your focus. Set clear weight loss goals, get hooked to the journey. Analyze how you feel and sleep. Focus on the positive changes you notice and you become addicted to them. Addicted to real feelings and dopamine, to being lean for the rest of your life. It's also a drug. But a positive one and good for you. Other people have gone through this change, I have myself, and you can do it too. It all starts with your belief. A total lifestyle and health change always involves body, mind and soul. Doing the whole work and stop looking for “hacks”. There is no easy way out. Accept this and you pick up momentum quick enough and notice your personal growth. Keeping you motivated. Remember: We are all gonna make it brah. Life today is different from 100 years ago. Industrialization and the Internet changed everything. We live now in a world of instant gratification. The time has come in which people want physique goals as quick as an Amazon delivery. As instant as the hit of fast food. A date with a girl by a simple swipe. Sex by looking at a ZOGGED video… you get the point. Ultimately people want the "hack" that fixes digestion overnight. The pill that gets abs instantly. The perfect routine that feels easy...
Appetite management is the holy grail of diet success. With it you don’t have to rely on willpower. Everyone can get a sixpack once they understand the role of appetite and hunger. Look deep into theirselves and know what the body and mind really needs. This without the reach to a needle and injecting Ozempic. Just becoming a slave to pharmacy and hooked onto it like a meth addict. Most failed diets come down to this: yo-yo back up, regaining even more weight than they lost very quick; losing...
Training to failure gets constantly recycled in the fitness niche. We went from bro science “train all out, reach complete failure” (read this with Tom Platz voice), to “leave reps in reserve”, to “train to technical failure”… You hear all these words still being thrown around. Everyone tells you to train hard. Others say you only need to train shy to failure and they love ‘Reps in Reserve’. Marcel @345marcel Easy to blind fitness beginners by speaking of ’failure training‘. Your body isn’t...
